You Are a Lisa Frank Dolphin

You break the surface of the ocean and click to the heavens. Past the clouds in the yellow, orange, pink, and purple sky, your echoes bounce off of something enormous. Like a squid’s tentacles, but not delicious. Frightening.
The hand scoops you out of the ocean. You ascend higher and higher, past the fluffy clouds, the unicorns who snuggle in the clouds, and the twinkling sky of snuggling stars. You would enjoy the atmosphere, if you were able to breathe out of the water for more than 10 minutes.
You find yourself in a strange place. The world you knew – one of rainbows, oceans, and dopey-looking seals – lies underneath you on a sheet of paper. There are paints, pens, and brushes beside the paper, and a tall stack of blank folders. When you look around, you see a dreary world of grays […]

They’re called a “smack,” because you smack your lips just looking at those tasty rainbow treats. It’d be like seeing a bunch of hot dogs floating around, if you were a […]
Try as you might, the spear is locked onto your fin. It’s like… a part of you now. You are no longer an ordinary dolphin. Though your belly aches, you no longer hunger for fish. You hunger for vengeance. Return to just beneath the water.
You splash back into the ocean, look left, then unleash a series of clicks.
You swim to the island. On its surface, there’s nothing too exciting. Just bulbous-headed white women in rainbow sarong wrap swimwear lounging under rainbow palm trees with their smiling rainbow macaws.
