Leftward, ho. The MANotaur’s smell gets stronger. His grunts get louder. By the time you realize you’ve made a horrible mistake, the creature jumps in front of you!
“You’ve made a horrible mistake,” the MANotaur grumbles from the shadows.
“Yeah, I know that now,” you say defensively.
The MANotaur emerges. His bloody horns glisten in the torch light. His hooves twitch in anticipation. His eyes are a mix of fierce and utterly, startlingly dull.
“Everybody hates me, just because of who I am,” the MANotaur cries. “It’s not my fault I enjoy murdering humans in labyrinth settings. That’s what makes me me. If anything, you’re the monster!”
You turn to run. The MANotaur gets on all fours, then sprints toward you at incredible speed. He knocks you into the air, slashing you with his horns. The creature disappears into the shadows to assess your damage.
